foodFood and Wine Pairing

This group is aimed at those interested in the pairing of wine with food. Meetings are generally held at members’ homes on the second Thursday of each month.

The food content consists of tapas-sized portions and the cost for a session, including wine, is limited to £10 per person. There is a minimum of three dishes with matching wines and the duration of a session is between one and two hours depending on the number of dishes for tasting.

All members are expected to fully participate in hosting, preparing food and choosing wine with another member of the group on a rotation basis. The choice of food and wine for a session will be that of those leading the session.

Due to the limitations in requirements for food preparation and the seating of participants when sessions are held at members’ homes attendance will be limited to 14 persons.
