foodFood and Wine Pairing

We meet at 12.30pm on the 2nd Thursday of each month. We have 14 members at present, but more would be welcome. Two of the members volunteer to host each month, in one of their homes. The theme or content of the pairing is their choice, the attendees contribute £10 per person. There is a maximum of 10 attending (first come first served). Depending on numbers attending, 3- 5 tapas size portions of food with an accompanying 50ml of wine are provided. During the course of the meal, choices are discussed. As this depends on individual tastes there is no precise pairing.

All members are expected to fully participate in hosting, preparing food and choosing wine with another member of the group on a rotation basis. The choice of food and wine for a session will be that of those leading the session.

Due to the limitations in requirements for food preparation and the seating of participants when sessions are held at members’ homes attendance will be limited to 14 persons.
