Aspects of Indiaindian flag

Convenor: Ramji Abinashi

Whether it is social structure, norms, values or the country’s history , tourism, festivals, religions, economic development or anything else at allI always tell people that those who visit India will come away with either of two states of mind. They will either hate it or love it, I do not think there is an in-between. India is a puzzle, that leaves people wondering. It is a complex and difficult to understand country but at the same time is vibrant and ambitious.

We meet on the first Monday of each month at 14:00 in the Pottery Room of Amersham Community Centre

The group is intended to:

Give people a broad understanding of India as a developing nation, its problems and its promise. And the transformation it is going through
Enable people to freely ask questions and get some clarity on issues about India that interest them
Help people who would love to visit India, in order to make sure they have a fantastic holiday there – where, when , what, and how to be careful
Be open to any general queries about India

This group is currently full, but please contact the convenor to ask about a waiting list.
