Not just satisfied with my inability to provoke any response on this forum, I have signed on to the Daily Telegraph Blog and can now proudly claim that the silence I prompt is world-wide!  Geoff

You are not alone, Geoff.  But let me break the silence briefly.  At the (very slight) risk of provoking an outburst of indignation, I would suggest that the silence on this forum indicates that the typical member of Chiltern U3A is a dull, opinionless, uninterested, technophobic introvert. Undecided

If that is true of the 13% of members signed up to the Forum, what does that say about the 87% that have not even signed up yet???

Perhaps they are too busy enjoying the various groups  / outings / holidays etc. to have time to sit at their computers ??!!
