We meet in the Barn Hall at 2:30 on the first Friday of the month. If you would like to join us, just come along. Our meetings usually start with a talk or tutorial on some aspect of photography. We cover both pictorial topics, such as composition and lighting, digital imaging, looking at techniques and technologies to process images using a variety of photo editing software such as Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom, Affinity etc. The meeting format is varied to appeal to all levels of expertise. Many of the talks are retained in our archive below.
After a short break we share our images on a set subject, for which members are invited to submit four photographs. Over the last ten years we have accumulated around 12,000 images. They can all be seen by clicking on this link: https://www.flickr.com/photos/chiltern-u3a/
Whenever there is a fifth Friday in a month we organise a group photoshoot to a suitable location or event, with a selection of members' images being shown at a later meeting.
Expert assistance is always available to any Chiltern u3a member at each meeting during tea break but if it involves camera settings then please email us first. Please bring along your Chiltern u3a membership card if it is your first meeting.

To view a slide show, look at the top right of the screen for a small square icon with an arrow inside. Other links may take you to a OneDrive shared folder. Click on the relevant item and either a PDF slide show, or a video will play. If there is a folder icon, double click to open the folder and navigate through the images using your keyboard 'Right or Left Arrow' keys.
