Chiltern u3a (Cu3a), part of a national network of u3as

A member-led organisation run for and by our members, we began life in 1999 with 125 members. After more than 25 years of learning, laughing and living in and around the Amersham area, Cu3a is still going strong with around 1500 members and over 100 interest groups.

Connect with others through the things you love. Share a passion or start a new one, learn a sport, make music or talk books. Whether you want to explore intellectually or physically, or simply lift another member’s spirits, there is a place for you here. You can even meet members online from across the UK.

Chiltern u3a provides a low-cost opportunity to live later life to the full.

There are many opportunities for members to make their own contribution to its success. The organisation thrives because there are people who are prepared to use their own time, skills and aptitudes to make it work, making your own membership even more rewarding and enjoyable.

Learn, laugh and live with Cu3a!

We keep in touch with our members:

Quarterly newsletters are distributed by email to all members, giving full details of all of the groups' activities and other items of interest (a paper copy can be provided for those who need it – just let us know.)

Fortnightly eBulletins, also distributed via email, update members about new groups and Cu3a activites; as well as featuring local events.

Take a look at the ‘Latest News…’ column on the Home page for updates.

Join our Facebook Group page for information about u3a activities.

u3a Thames Valley Network (TVN), the Southeast Region and the national u3a organise online and face-to-face events open to all members. About u3a
