We discuss all things French including French tv programs/films, books or articles. Our recent topics included Memories from wars past and present, Borrowed words in French language and influence of ‘Americanisms’, Deep fakes appearing in the news and our everyday lives, Depiction of religious scenes in famous paintings, Celebrations of various holidays in France, Closure and restructuring of book shops in France. We meet on the first and third Friday of the month at 14.00 in the Small Barn Hall or the Lounge. At present we have a vacancy in our group.
